Last year, REI closed its doors on Black Friday and invited its employees and community to take Black Friday off from work – and shopping – and to get outside.


This year, the #OptOutside campaign is back in full force and is getting attention from the National Parks Foundation, which is putting its own spin on the #OptOutside movement.
